Little People, Big World: Matt And Amy Roloff Separate

Sometimes - for me - it's hard to even comprehend the Rolf's separating, I thought they were doing so well - a little argument here and there, that's all in a marriage.  I guess thing kind of gotten out of hand.  "Little People, Big World" couple Matt and Amy Roloff have separated after 26 years together.

"Though we have weathered many storms together, we recently made the tough decision to engage in a trial separation," the Roloffs confirmed to People magazine. "Matt remains living on the farm in our guest house and we work together everyday on the farm, on our business endeavors and most importantly, raising our amazing children."

In a TLC clip titled "Trial Separation," Matt reveals he's living in the bridal house on the family's Oregon farm. He says he and Amy began having problems near Thanksgiving.

"Amy and I stuck it out for years when maybe we shouldn't have," he says. "I never quite felt at home in my own home. Something needed to change. We needed to try something different."

Amy says, it wasn't her choice for him to leave, adding: "We don't have a plan for how we're gonna work this out. It's not gonna be easy."

Reports of trouble in the couple's marriage first surfaced in December after TLC shared a sneak peek from the hit show along with a press release that hinted at problems, Pop Dust notes. One particularly tense instance happened during a dinner conversation about their relationship and the idea of selling the farm. This episode of Little People, Big World airs on March 25, on TLC.

A source release this statement:

Both (Matt and Amy) have trouble keeping their emotions in check. Barbs are thrown from both sides and there is plenty of hurt to go around. Both Matt and Amy express their determination to work together to work things out, but the reality may be that they have reached the end.

I really hate that the Roloff's have separated, I call it the worst in TLC history, one of the awesome shows maybe ending, but we will until then.

As Always, Open Discussion

If anyone out there in cyberspace - who followed and know the complete history (from 'almost' day one) of Jon and Kate Gosselin -- this blog is for those who want to discuss and show their support for Jon (even if everyone thinks he is a "douche-bag" he's still the father of the Gosselin 8. Jon has made mistakes in his past. He has apologized for those mistakes and to everyone through the media and to Kate - even if she wouldn't let him apologize to her face to face, Jon has apologized to Kate (more than I can say for Kate, "She has not apologized to Jon or the public yet.") No matter what you think of Jon, I support him as a person and the father of the Gosselin 8 and for all he's been through, especially with his 10 year marriage to Kate Gosselin. If you're not a supporter of Jon, that is your decision, do not attack any of my posters or me (T) on this blog or demand anything from my posters or me (T) that justifies our support for Jon. If any attacks or demands are made against my posters or me (T), you will be deleted from this blog. It is our right to support Jon and our freedom to express our opinions about Jon. If you don't like it -- that's too bad!
