George Zimmerman's Parents Sues Roseanne Barr Claiming She Sent 'Lynch Mob' After Them

George Zimmerman's parents is suing comedian, Roseanne Barr for tweeting their home address claiming in what they say was an attempt to send vigilantes after them.  Robert Zimmerman and Gladys Zimmerman's lawsuit says the actress and comedian, Roseanne Barr also said she herself might go to their home herself. They said Roseanne posted their private information in violation of Twitters privacy policies.  "I don't believe a word of it!  I don't believe Roseanne Barr would put her career in jeopardy over people like the Zimmerman's, since they have a vigilante murdering piece of crap son - who got away with murder." Even though sources said that Roseanne Barr knew at the time of her tweets and her threat to personally come to the Zimmerman's home that it was an open and obvious call for vigilante justice… intended by Roseanne Barr to cause a lynch mob to descend on Robert Zimmerman and Gladys Zimmerman's home,” according to the lawsuit, filed in Seminole County, Fla.

A spokesman for Barr did not immediately respond to a request for comment from media outlet, The Wrap.  The Zimmerman's say, Roseanne Barr tweeted their address on March 29, 2012, later adding, “At first I thought it was good to let ppl know that no one can hide anymore.” She added, “If Zimmerman isn't arrested I'll rt his address again – maybe go to his house myself.”  "I wonder why the Zimmerman's waited one year to file a lawsuit against Roseanne Barr?  Hmmmm!

Roseanne also wrote, “vigilante-ism is what killed Trayvon. I don't support that,” according to The Smoking Gun website. She also admitted to “not fully understanding that it was private not public.”

Zimmerman's parents said their son had not lived at the home for more than six years.  The couple said they had no problems related to his case in the month before Roseanne Barr tweeted their address, but that news media began arriving at their home almost as soon as she did. They said they were forced to flee and have not returned to their home in the nearly two years since. They do not claim that any lynch mob ever materialized — only that they had to leave to avoid potential vigilantes.  But the timeline in their lawsuit conflicts with one Robert Zimmerman gave the Orlando Sentinel in an interview, the paper reported. He said on March 15, 2012 – two weeks before Roseanne Barr tweeted the address – that he and his wife had already moved out of their home because of death threats, the Orlando Sentinel said.  Roseanne Barr is the second celebrity to be accused of overzealous tweeting involving the Zimmerman case.

Another Florida couple has sued Spike Lee for re tweeting their address and mistakenly identifying it as Zimmerman's. He later apologized.  George Zimmerman, who said he shot Martin in self-defense, was acquitted in July 2013, is a crock of bull crap.

  1. I think this whole thing behind Zimmerman's is a publicity stunt, they know their vigilante kid need the money. This incedent was over a year ago why sue Roseanne Barr now. I think it's a bunch of bull crap.

As Always, Open Discussion

If anyone out there in cyberspace - who followed and know the complete history (from 'almost' day one) of Jon and Kate Gosselin -- this blog is for those who want to discuss and show their support for Jon (even if everyone thinks he is a "douche-bag" he's still the father of the Gosselin 8. Jon has made mistakes in his past. He has apologized for those mistakes and to everyone through the media and to Kate - even if she wouldn't let him apologize to her face to face, Jon has apologized to Kate (more than I can say for Kate, "She has not apologized to Jon or the public yet.") No matter what you think of Jon, I support him as a person and the father of the Gosselin 8 and for all he's been through, especially with his 10 year marriage to Kate Gosselin. If you're not a supporter of Jon, that is your decision, do not attack any of my posters or me (T) on this blog or demand anything from my posters or me (T) that justifies our support for Jon. If any attacks or demands are made against my posters or me (T), you will be deleted from this blog. It is our right to support Jon and our freedom to express our opinions about Jon. If you don't like it -- that's too bad!
